Reserves in Cup Action Tomorrow

26th August 2019

Hearts Reserves are in action tomorrow as they try and retain their Reserve Cup crown at the first time of asking.

The Cup clash against St Mirren takes place at Meggetland Stadium, the home of Tynecastle FC and Boroughmuir Rugby Club, in a 2pm kick-off.

It was only last week that the Jambos faced Andy Webster's side in the Reserve League, running out 3-1 winners at the Oriam thanks to goals from Euan Henderson, Anthony McDonald and Connor Smith.

It's the start of the group phase for Andy Kirk's youngsters, who will play Hibs and Hamilton in their remaining group fixtures.

It was back in April when Hearts lifted the Cup, with goals from Lewis Moore and Callumn Morrison securing the trophy in a 2-0 win over Motherwell at Tynecastle.
