Back the young Jambos to glory!
The cup run has been a particular highlight in the reserves season and saw the Jambos put four sides to the sword. This meant topping their group for a place in the semi-final and it was something Andy Kirk’s side did with ease, winning all three fixtures.
Drawn in a tough group, they first beat Hibs 2-1 before a tough game against Kilmarnock produced a 3-2 win. They still had to beat Partick Thistle, and an Anthony McDonald brace secured the win as well as a place in the semi-final against Aberdeen.
Connor Smith got the scoring underway against the Dons before a Ryan Edwards’ brace secured the win and now the reserves will walk out on the Tynecastle pitch looking to lift the silverware.
