Jon Daly is targeting another big away performance as Hearts look to get more points on board against Motherwell this Saturday.
The Jambos have taken four points from their last two outings, with a 1-0 win at Kilmarnock followed up with a 0-0 draw against Rangers at Ibrox.
The interim Head Coach now takes his side to Motherwell this Saturday and he believes it’s another chance for the Jambos to fine-tune their style of play away from home. Speaking to the press on Thursday, Jon said:
“We knew Ibrox would be a difficult place to go, we’ve not done too well there historically so to come away with a point gives us confidence going into Saturday’s match.
“Being away from home is difficult and when you play away you need to play a certain style of football. You need to be compact and hard to breakdown, but also have the ability to cause your opponents problems.
“We’re well aware of that, we’ve worked on it and we’re working hard to get points on the board. Our focus is on giving us the best possible chance so that when we do eventually get back to Tynecastle we’ll find ourselves in a decent position.
“Motherwell are a physical side, we expect them to be very aggressive and they’ve got players that can hurt us.
“We need to match their competitiveness and make sure we don’t get bullied on the day.”
