Robbie Neilson is confident his side can re-capture their goalscoring form against Motherwell in tomorrow night’s clash at Fir Park.
The Jambos have gone two games without hitting the back of the net, despite creating a flurry of chances against both St Johnstone and Ross County.
Head Coach Robbie Neilson is refusing to panic, however, and insists goals will come provided his team continue to carve out clear-cut chances.
“I’m looking forward to it, it’ll be under the floodlights and the pitch at Fir Park is good,” Robbie told the press ahead of the Friday night Ladbrokes Premiership fixture against The Steelmen.
“Motherwell have been up and down so far this season. They’ve got some decent players there and Fir Park is a place where we’ve found it difficult to go in the last few years.
“Yes, we haven’t scored in our last two outings, but we’re creating chances.
“The goals will come, I’m not overly worried about it and the players work on their finishing all the time.
“In the two previous games we’ve had plenty of chances but not taken them. But the key is that we’re creating those chances and it’s now about finishing them off.”
