Prince Buaben will leave Hearts upon expiration of his contract in the summer.
Buaben will depart the club after four years at Tynecastle, while Connor Randall will return to parent club Liverpool at the end of his season-long loan.
Randall signed on at Hearts in July of last year. The on loan Anfield man has proved his versatility with a string of fine performances in several areas of the pitch, and has made 25 appearances in a maroon shirt so far.
Buaben arrived at Tynecastle in the summer of 2014 and was instrumental in helping the Jambos seal the Championship title in record-breaking fashion.
He has gone on to make 112 appearances to date and has scored eight goals.
Speaking to heartsfc.co.uk, manager Craig Levein said: “We spent last weekend conducting our football review, and deciding which players can help us to take the club forward.
“In Connor’s case, I’ve been very happy with his performances this season. However, we happen to be in a position where we are already well equipped in the right-back area, so he will return to Liverpool at the end of the season.
“Prince has been a great servant to this club and, like Connor, has played in different positions when asked to. I feel the time is right for him to move on and stake a claim for first-team football at another club.”
Meanwhile, Nikolay Todorov, Wojiech Gajda, and Harry Paton will also be leaving the club in the summer.
