Perry Kitchen has been named in the USA squad for this summer's Copa America tournament.
US boss Jurgen Klinsmann named the Hearts midfielder in his final squad this evening and Perry can now look forward to group stage games against Colombia, Costa Rica and Paraguay.
Perry recently joined up with the squad at their Miami training base and could feature in tomorrow's friendly against Puerto Rico.
News of his call-up to the final Copa America squad was warmly received by Hearts Head Coach Robbie Neilson. Speaking to Hearts News, he said:
"I'm delighted for Perry. It's a great honour for him to be called up to the US squad for a special Copa America tournament.
"It shows the quality of player that he is, and the standard of player that we're trying to bring into the club.
"We hope he does really well and look forward to welcoming him back into the fold ahead of the forthcoming campaign."
Copa America will be staged in the US and takes place from 3-26th June. USA play their first game against Colombia on 4th June.
