Over 600 pieces donated as part of #TopSwap

2nd August 2017

Incredible response from Hearts fans as target achieved in less than a month

An amazing response from Hearts fans has resulted in over 600 items of football kit being handed in as part of the club's #TopSwap drive.

Launched on the 7th of July, in tandem with the new Hearts Away strip, the campaign initially aimed to raise 500 pieces but the current figure of 600 has eclipsed this by a considerable margin.

The strips handed in to date include shirts from Portugal, Brazil, Ajax, Bordeaux, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Feyenoord, Australia, Chelsea, Rangers, Arsenal, Liverpool, Sparta Prague, Bayern Munich and Derby County. The club are incrediably grateful for all donations and will work with its partners to ensure they reach a worthwhile new home.

The club will continue to accept kit until further notice and therefore kindly asks supporters who are buying the new away kit to donate any old football shirts to the club.  Hearts will then work with its partners to distribute these to those who would benefit most.

Big Hearts will help to provide kit directly to local kids and Hearts' partnership with Save the Children and other charitable organisations in Rwanda will ensure that your tops reach the right projects there.

To thank you for the donation, the club will provide free printing of names and numbers on your new away kit.

The club is delighted that its new official kit partner, Umbro, is supporting this scheme through sponsorship and donation.

What do you need to do?

Simply drop your strip into the Hearts Clubstore. In return you will be given free printing on the new Umbro away strip!
