No fears for Robbie

4th November 2014

Robbie Neilson pleased with Scottish Cup draw and looking forward to tough test.

Robbie Neilson has welcomed Hearts’ Scottish Cup draw with Celtic and believes the Jambos can triumph.

The men in maroon were paired with the Scottish Premiership champions for the second time this season, having already faced them in the League Cup earlier in the year.

Robbie is relishing another chance to lock horns with the best and thinks home advantage could prove key.

Speaking to Hearts News, Robbie said: “It’s a great draw for us. You always want to test yourelf against the best and we’ve got another opportunity to do that.

“I felt that we more than matched Celtic at times in the League Cup game at Celtic Park. If we’d scored our penalty then it could’ve had a different outcome, but instead they went up the park and scored straightaway, so it’s fine margins.

“To draw them at home will be a great occasion. We’ll hopefully have a massive crowd behind us, like we have all season, and give it real go.

“I think it’s a game that we can win.”
