Happy New Year to you all!
I hope you had a lovely family Christmas. The team certainly did everything they could to help us enjoy it and to add to our good spirits.
We are now looking forward to 2015. So, may I wish you all a very, very Happy New Year, both from me and from everyone here at Tynecastle.
We welcome our city rivals to Tynecastle on Saturday and what a match that should be, with both teams riding high at the moment. I am sure the two sides will be well up for the game… and both sets of supporters, too.
Let’s make it a memorable day… for all the right reasons.
As I have said before, we want everyone in the stadium to have a fantastic day out when they come to Tynecastle… whichever team they are here to support. So please enjoy yourselves and enjoy some good-natured banter with your rivals… and please behave in a way that makes your club proud.
Not only your club; with the eyes of the world once again on Edinburgh for the New Year celebrations, let’s make Edinburgh proud of its two major football clubs and their supporters.
Have a great New Year, and a great derby… and let’s look forward to a successful 2015, and many more derbies in the years ahead.
