New look programme out this Friday

11th July 2017

The official HMFC matchday programme has undergone a 'Hollywood' revamp with an eye catching front cover theme.

As per the last few seasons, the programme is priced at £3.50 and Friday night’s edition features a range of excellent pieces, including an extensive look at previous meetings between Hearts and Newcastle, as well as columns from Ian Cathro, Ann Budge and new Captain Christophe Berra. ‘Uncovered’ takes a closer look at the movie featured on the cover, as well as what was going in the world of Hearts the year it was released.

Friday’s issue also marks the start of a new feature, ‘The Class of ‘98’, which takes a look back at the players and matches that helped shape the 97/98 season. This campaign marks the 20th anniversary of that memorable season which of course culminated in Hearts lifting the Scottish Cup.

Elsewhere, Hearts’ goalkeeping coach Paul Gallacher talks us through his Ultimate Eleven, Lee Makel is the subject of a new feature entitled ‘He Wore Maroon’, plus there’s a review of Hearts’ recent pre-season games and a look at how the Hearts U20s are shaping up ahead of the new campaign.
