The Heart of Midlothian Museum is pleased to reveal their latest exhibit, ‘Always Remembered’.
As we mark the centenary of the Armistice this year, the new exhibition case puts focus on remembrance; in particular the significance of the Haymarket War Memorial and the role this plays in WWI commemorations.
A stark, arresting and thought-provoking display, its aim is to make us reflect on the sacrifice made by those during the war, and to remember them.
The refreshed exhibit showcases the Museum’s first commissioned object – a cast bronze replica of the Heart of Midlothian Haymarket War Memorial that will be accessioned into the Club’s archives, kindly supported by generous donations.
The new exhibition is available to view now in the Heart of Midlothian Museum.
The Hearts Museum is open to visitors Thursday to Sunday every week (other than a match day), entrance is via the gates at Tynecastle Terrace.
