For the first time, supporters buying tickets for Saturday’s match against St Mirren will have the option of using a digital ticket to enter Tynecastle Park.
After purchasing a match ticket and selecting the digital ticket option, supporters will receive an email containing a step-by-step guide to download the ticket straight to their Apple Wallet (iPhone users) / Google Pay (Android users). Alternatively, a pdf attachment with a barcode can also be printed and shown at the turnstile.
For the time being, the phased digital ticket roll-out will only apply to match tickets purchased from today (Wednesday 24th November) onwards and Season Ticket holders will continue to utilise their cards to enter the ground.
We ask that supporters arrive at Tynecastle earlier than usual due to this new process to ensure you are seated for kick-off, and have your barcode ready to be scanned when approaching the turnstile.
We ask supporters to please bear with us as we roll out the new digital ticketing option. The system has been tested extensively, however, there may still be some teething issues in terms of compatibility with certain devices and the stadium scanners. Stewards and staff will be on hand to resolve any issues as swiftly as possible.
