Supporters who are partially sighted/blind will benefit from the use of new audio descriptive commentary equipment for the 21/22 season at Tynecastle Park.
Heart of Midlothian have a growing number of customers using this service and by utilising both the existing and new equipment the club hopes to encourage more partially sighted/blind fans to come along to Tynecastle to enjoy the match day experience.
Hearts' Disability Access Officer, Keith Ferguson, was able to secure the new equipment thanks to a close working relationship with Billy Owens, the chairman of the Rex Blind Parties. Billy and Keith have worked together for a number of years in a bid to establish commentary for partially sighted/blind fans at a number of Scottish football stadiums.
