Hearts’ young stars this week continued their culinary journey by learning how to make soup.
The likes of Harry Cochrane, Connor Smith and Euan Henderson donned their aprons and honed their chopping skills to produce the starter dish as part of their Master Chef course.
Lasting 10-weeks, the course, devised by Next Step Foundation, aims to give the young players at Hearts the tools to succeed away from the pitch.
By week 10, the lads will be tasked with preparing a three-course meal in one session to be taste tested at the end.
Speaking to HeartsTV from the kitchen, Connor said: “I’ve found it lot easier than last week because last week was the first time I’ve ever cooked in my life.
“I had never made soup before. I had never made anything until last week when we made a burger…apart from toast and cereal!
“100%, I’ll come out on top in the taste test.”
