Craig Levein has put the disappointment of losing to Dundee behind him as his side gears up for a return to Ladbrokes Premiership action with a trip to Ross County on Saturday.
Hearts lost at Dens Park prior to the international break, conceding goals from two set pieces that handed Dundee the victory.
Craig believes those defensive mishaps were out of the ordinary as the Jambos bid to get back to winning ways at the Global Energy Stadium this weekend.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, he said: “We do lots of work and it was unfortunate that we did lose a couple of goals (from set pieces), but if you look at our record this season it’s been pretty good on that sort of thing. I see it as a blip.
“When I see the players trying as hard as they did and putting so much effort and trying to do everything we worked on, and we make a couple of errors and lose a game that we should never have lost, of course I feel disappointment, but you’ve just got to dust yourself down and get on with it.
“We’ve got work to do today and tomorrow for the game against Ross County, and we’ll do that.
“This will be a tough game for us. We need to pick up points on the road and the intention will be to try and get three points up at Ross County.”
