Let's put things right

Robbie sets his sights on three points against Inverness CT.

Robbie Neilson has his eyes firmly set on a first league win of the season when Hearts host Inverness CT this coming Saturday.

The Jambos narrowly lost their opening day fixture to champions Celtic before securing a point in a hard-fought draw at Pittodrie.

The Head Coach, however, saw enough in both performances to convince him the team is moving in the right direction.

Speaking to the press ahead of Saturday’s Ladbrokes Premiership encounter at Tynecastle, Robbie said:

“I think we’ve had two good performances in the league so far, but obviously we haven’t taken as many points as we would have liked.

“We came away from the Aberdeen game feeling disappointed. Yes it was a good point, but we had chances to win it.

“Tony Watt had a big opportunity at the end, so we could well have come away with a win.

“So we’re aiming to rectify that on Saturday by picking up three points.

“It’s a good game to come into, we’ll be at home and will hopefully play in front of another sell-out crowd.

“The squad’s looking good ahead of the game as well. Obviously Jamie Walker is still out with suspension, but other than that we’re in good shape.”
