Let's cap off 2015 with a win

29th December 2015

Robbie Neilson wants to cap off a memorable year with a return to winning ways.

Robbie Neilson believes a win against Dundee United on Wednesday night would be the ideal way to round off a memorable year for Hearts.

The early stages of 2015 culminated in Robbie’s side lifting the Championship trophy back in May. The team is currently sitting in third place midway through the first season back in the Ladbrokes Premiership.

The Jambos face bottom-side Dundee United on Wednesday night and the Head Coach is eager to enter 2016 on the back of a win. Speaking to Hearts TV, Robbie said:

“United have struggled of late but they’ve still got a lot of good players and it’s always a big game whenever they come to Tynecastle.

“We got a good result up at Tannadice earlier this season and we’re determined to pick up another win on Wednesday.”

Tynecastle will once again be packed out for the visit of The Terrors, marking the tenth consecutive sell-out for a league match in Gorgie.

“It’s a massive boost for the players to be able to play in front of a sold out stadium. There’s no better place to be than at Tynecastle under the floodlights, so hopefully we can get three points to cap off a good year,” said Robbie.
