Leo Watson called up for Scotland camp

20th September 2019

Leo Watson has been called up to the Scotland under-17 training squad.

The left-back, who signed his first pro contract in June, has previously played for Scotland's under-16 side.

Leo made his first team debut in a friendly against Arbroath during this year's pre-season campaign - just ten days after inking his new deal.

He has featured twice for Andy Kirk's reserves so far this year - including the 3-1 Challenge Cup loss to Waterford where Leo scored the Jambos' only goal.

He will join up with Brian McLaughlin's side on September 22nd before travelling to the Pinatar Arena Football Centre in Spain to prepare for the under-17 UEFA Qualifers.

They will face Armenia, Iceland and Croatia in late October.
