Stephen Kingsley has committed his future to Hearts by signing a new contract.
The left-back has put pen to paper on a new 18-month deal, which will keep him at Tynecastle until the summer of 2022.
A huge hit with the fans since his arrival in October of last year, the 26-year-old has been a revelation on the pitch.
The Scotland cap scored a brace on his Championship debut against Dundee and has gone on to net five times in 16 appearances.
He joins his full-back compatriot Michael Smith in pledging his future to the Jambos, and with the recent addition of Gary Mackay-Steven it has already proven to have been a fruitful January transfer window.
Speaking to the Official Hearts Website, manager Robbie Neilson said: “I’m delighted that we’ve got this one over the line.
“Stephen is a top quality player and has made a real impact since joining the squad.
“I know he’s popular with the fans and it’s great that they will get to see him pull on the maroon jersey for another 18 months and, of course, it’s a real boost for us to retain the services of a top, top player.”
