Tynecastle duo in the running for PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year after stunning season.

Hearts star Jamie Walker is hoping to net a dream awards double after being nominated for the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year 2015.

The Tynecastle attacker is already on the shortlist for the PFA Scotland Championship Player of the Year after a superb season in maroon for the runaway league winners.

Completing the nominations alongside Jamie for the young player of the year are team-mate Sam Nicholson, Ryan Christie of Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Celtic’s Jason Denayer.

Sam’s inclusion brings the total number of Hearts players in the running for the prestigious PFA Scotland Player of the Year awards to four, with Morgaro Gomis and Alim Ozturk also on the shortlist for the Championship honour.

The winners will be announced and presented with their awards at a star-studded dinner at the Hilton Glasgow on Sunday 3rd May sponsored by Cheque Centre.
