Slovenian international defender Andraz Struna joins Hearts.

Ian Cathro has bolstered his defensive options by capturing Slovenian international full-back Andraz Struna.

The 27-year-old right-back has joined Hearts until the summer, after leaving PAS Giannina, where he made nearly 90 appearances for the Greek top-flight side over a three-year period.

Andra began his career in his homeland with Piran, before joining fellow Slovenians Koper in 2007, where he helped them to win the Slovenian league title and the Supercup in 2010.

A move to Polish Ekstraklasa-outfit Cracovia followed, where he made around 60 appearances, before plying his trade in the Greek Super League in 2013.

He made his international debut for Slovenia in 2012 and has gone on to win 25 caps, scoring one goal against San Marino in a Euro 2016 qualifying match in march 2015.
