Jake Mulraney has been impressed with the raft of new faces in training as Hearts enter day three of their Irish training camp.
The Jambos will ramp up the intensity with a double session in Dublin today, after cruising to a 7-0 friendly win over Shelbourne on Monday night.
New signings and young stars have had their first involvement with the team and Jake has revealed that he’s on hand to pass on advice to the stars of the future, even if he believes they don’t really need it.
Speaking to HeartsTV in Dublin, he said: “Of course, I do want to help the younger boys if they come up to me.
“To be honest though, I don’t think they need that much help.
“The likes of Connor Smith, Aaron Hickey and Alex Petkov, they’re all quality footballers.
“They mix in with the boys great and standard-wise they’re right up there.
“I’ve spoken to Aidy White quite a bit and I’ve spoken to Craig Halkett quite a bit.
“Jamie Walker only came in the other day but I’ve spoken to him a little bit as well.
“They all seem like good boys, good lads and good players from what I hear.
“When I came in the first time a year-and-a-half ago Jamie was still here and I didn’t really know who he was until that day but he caught my eye a bit in training.
“Obviously, he did well because he got a good move.
“It’s good to have the boys here.”
