Jack Hamilton has expressed his delight at signing a two-year contract extension with the club.
The 22-year-old shot-stopper today signed a new deal that will keep him at Tynecastle until May 2019. The Scotland U21 international, who has started the last two games for Robbie Neilson's side, is now looking to push on with a view to eventually establishing himself as Hearts' first-choice goalkeeper.
Speaking to Hearts News, Jack said:
“I’m delighted to commit my future to Hearts for an extra two years. This is a big club so it’s a great opportunity to play here and continue to develop.
“The club has had a great season and I’ve really enjoyed being a part of the last two games, and now my future has been settled I can focus on improving even further and carrying on into the next campaign.
“It’s a massive challenge ahead to establish myself as no. 1, but I’m up for it and I’m already looking forward to next season.”
