Jack Hamilton has pledged his future to Hearts by penning a two-year contract extension.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper has put pen to paper on a new deal that will see him stay at Tynecastle until May 2019.
Scotland U21 cap Jack was in inspirational form in last night’s 1-0 win away to Aberdeen, his ninth competitive appearance for the first team.
Head coach Robbie Neilson spoke of his delight at tying the promising ‘keeper down to a new deal and hopes he will go on to become the club’s no. 1.
Speaking to Hearts News, he said: “It’s a great bit of business to get Jack signed up for the next few years.
“He’s an extremely talented young goalkeeper, as everyone would’ve seen in the past two games against Ross County and Aberdeen.
“We’ve got high hopes for him and if continues to develop then there’s no reason why he can’t hold on to the goalkeeper’s jersey in the first team for years to come.”
