Aaron Hughes named in Northern Ireland squad for World Cup qualifier
Aaron Hughes has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad for this month’s World Cup qualifying match against Norway.
Northern Ireland host Norway in Belfast on Sunday, March 26th and Hughes has been named in Michael O’Neill’s 24-man squad.
Capped 104 times for his national side, Aaron has missed Hearts’ last two games through injury, with Ian Cathro hopeful of involving him in tomorrow’s Ladbrokes Premiership match against Hamilton Accies.
Northern Ireland sit second in Group C, level on points with third-placed Azerbaijan and five points behind leaders Germany.
