On December 15th, thousands of people will be donning their favourite Christmas Jumpers in aid of Hearts’ main sponsor, Save the Children.
Everyone who joins in is encouraged to donate £2 to take part, with all proceeds going to those most in need.
To help launch this year’s fantastic Christmas Jumper Day initiative, six Hearts players recently ventured out to two Save the Children stores in Edinburgh for a very special ‘Apprentice-style’ challenge.
Split into two teams, the boys were tasked with decorating the shop windows. Once complete, they returned to Tynecastle where they faced a gruelling interrogation from Ann Budge before a winner was eventually crowned. To find out who the Hearts Apprentice winners were, check out the fantastic video below.
In addition to the Christmas Jumper Day fundraising activities, Save the Children bucket collectors will also be in attendance this Saturday when Hearts host Motherwell at Tynecastle. For a minimum donation of £2, fans can get their hands on a special maroon Christmas hat - as seen in the video.
