Hearts help the homeless

20th December 2013

First team stars muck in and help serve Christmas dinners to Edinburgh's homeless.

Hearts' first team stars swapped the training pitch for the kitchen yesterday as they served up food to some of Edinburgh's homeless.

Brad McKay, Callum Tapping and David Smith all attended the Sheraton Lunch; a Christmas dinner for homeless people. The initiative is run by Streetwork, a charity that works to get people off the streets and provide them with the help that they need.

This year's lunch has been viewed as one of the most successful yet, with Brad, Callum and David mucking in, serving meals and chatting to those who stopped by.
