Hearts head to Spain for training camp

The Jambos head to the Malaga region on June 24th for a week of warm weather training as they gear up for an exciting campaign of both domestic and European football.

Robbie Neilson’s side will also take in a friendly match on June 30th against Europa FC, who finished runners-up in last season’s Gibraltar National League.

Speaking to the Official Hearts Website, the manager said: “It will be good to get the squad away and spend some time together.

“Make no mistake, it will be a tough week for them. We’ll have double sessions every day as well as daily gym sessions. 

“The aim is obviously to get everyone as fit as possible for what is going to be a massive season ahead, so this is where the hard work really starts."
