Last Tuesday marked the 17th annual Heart of Midlothian Golf Day where sponsors and players alike took to the course at Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club.
The day was an unmitigated success with over 40 participants, who were partnered up with nine first-team players plus Scott Wilson and principle ambassador Gary Locke.
John Souttar, Michael Smith, Craig Wighton, Bobby Burns, Colin Doyle, Steven MacLean, Conor Shaughnessy, Clevid Dikamona and Aaron Hughes all took part in the event and it was Colin Doyle's team that came in first place.
The competition took the format of a Texas scramble and began with a Shotgun Start at 1pm.
The list of winners was as follows:
1st place - The Hardies Property & Construction Consultants team, which was made up of Derek Ferrier, Gordon Howie, Alan Horne and Colin Doyle.
2nd place - The Ratho Park Golf Club team, made up of Robbert Dobbie, Steven Sinclair, Ian Forbes and Charlie Irvin.
3rd place - Our partners, the Dalmahoy Hotel and County Club team, made up from Colin Swanston, Bruce Wishart, Steven Lees and Michael Smith.

The winner of the Lynx Long Drove Challenge on the 10th hole was Steven Sinclair. The nearest to the pin on the 4th hole was Jason Cockburn from the Heineken team, and the nearest to the hole on the 7th was Charlie Irvin.
There was also the chance to win a Volkswagen Polo - provided by club partner Western Volkswagen - if any player could score a hole-in-one on the 17th hole, but unfortunately no one achieved the impressive feat.
