Heart of Midlothian F.C. is delighted to extend its partnership with Carabao, the global energy drink brand founded in Thailand.
Carabao will continue to be the Official Energy Drink Partner of Hearts until the conclusion of Season 2022-23, led by its Mixed Berry flavour, which like the rest of the range contains just 63 calories and 60% less sugar than major competitors. Supporters can expect to see DrinkCarabao.co.uk on a matchday across our social media graphics and alongside Hearts TV Adverts.
During the past season, Carabao Energy Drink brought fans closer to the behind-the-scenes workings of the Club with five episodes from the exclusive content series, ‘Away Up In Gorgie’. This brought some memorable moments for supporters, including first-team players taking part in Meeting of Minds and Liam Boyce’s taste in footwear. Supporters have won shirts signed by Andy Halliday, Armand Gnanduillet and the first-team squad.
Carabao also brought fans together with Hearts icons of the past during the Legends Experience. Competition winners enjoyed Hearts Hospitality from the comfort of their homes before taking in Hearts vs Dunfermline on Hearts TV in the company of cup-winning heroes Gary Locke, Jim Jefferies, Billy Brown, Stéphane Adam, Thomas Flögel, Colin Cameron, Andy Webster and Ian Black, who joined a memorable Zoom call.
The renewed partnership sees Carabao become an Official Community Partner at Hearts, donating £1 per case bought via the Hearts website to Big Hearts whilst also making a generous contribution towards the broad range of community programmes delivered at Tynecastle Park and in the local community.
Discussing the extended partnership, John Luck, Chief Marketing Officer of Carabao UK&I said: “With another exciting season of football ahead, it gives us great pleasure to extend our partnership with Hearts as their Official Energy Drink Partner, growing our presence in Scotland and at the same time supporting the local community. We’re looking forward to continuing to grow our existing relationship with the fans at Tynecastle Park, especially as supporters gradually return to the terraces after the challenges of last season.”
Hearts’ Director of Community and Partnerships, Ann Park, added:
“We are absolutely delighted to extend our relationship with Carabao Energy Drink. We have worked together successfully during the past year to bring fans closer to the team at a time when supporters were unable to attend games, and fans have benefitted with prizes, money can’t buy experiences and a range of signed tops.
Whilst Carabao have already shown their support for Big Hearts by donating £1 for every case sold via our website, their new investment in community programmes delivered at Tynecastle Park and throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians demonstrates that they have a strong understanding for the Club’s own ethos, with our values very well aligned.
We look forward to continuing to work with Carabao for the season ahead and are sure that our supporters will continue to enjoy the benefits this partnership brings.”
