Gorgie Live!'s big interview with John Colquhoun

29th January 2015

Wing king takes to the stage as part of Saturday's Gorgie Live! festivities.

Hearts Legend, crowd favourite and mercurial winger John Colquhoun is returning to Tynecastle to take part in an exclusive one-to-one interview with Scott Wilson as the highlight of the latest Gorgie Live! event this Saturday.

Talking about his life in football, his dalliance in politics and a plethora of other fascinating subjects, John will relive his finest moments in a maroon jersey and give an insight into the amazing array of activities that have characterised a remarkable career.

As a thank you to John, the club will, at his request, be donating match tickets to Streetwork UK, a charity working and providing support here in Edinburgh to the most vulnerable people at risk on the streets. Streetwork helps those in need make better choices, and avoid the damaging effects of homelessness, drugs, alcohol, gang violence, unprotected sex, prostitution and crime.  The club is proud to support their work. More information can be found on the website www.streetwork.org.uk.

As well as John’s appearance, the event includes:

·      Big screen live coverage of Alloa vs Hearts

·      Incisive punditry from our panel consisting of Robbo, Jimmy Sandison and Henry Smith

·      Exclusive pre-recorded interviews with Robbie and players

Tickets for the event are priced at £10. The event kicks-off at 4pm in the Gorgie Suite. Ticket price includes a fantastic evening of entertainment, a welcome drink (beer, wine or soft drink) and a pie at half time.  Curries and burgers can be purchased before the game too.

You can book tickets by calling 0871 663 1874, option 1 then option 8 (calls cost 10p per minute plus your standard network rate) or by visiting the Hearts Ticket Centre on McLeod Street.
