Gary Locke returns to Hearts in new Principal Ambassador role.

Heart of Midlothian FC is delighted to announce the appointment of Gary Locke as Principal Ambassador with immediate effect.

The former Hearts Captain and Manager leaves his coaching post at Cowdenbeath having secured their league status in a thrilling play-off with East Kilbride and this followed on from periods with Kilmarnock and Raith Rovers.

Gary returns to Hearts to take up a full-time position in the club's commercial department.  One of his main roles will involve the building a new Ambassadors and Legends programme to support the continued growth of the club's increasingly successful hospitality business, as well as the rapidly developing Heritage section of the club.

Gary will also assist the commercial team with a number of business partners as they seek to grow their business association with the club.

He will also work alongside Director of Football Craig Levein in assisting to monitor the numerous loan players the club have across the country.
