Freshness is key

Head Coach Robbie Neilson will continue to make changes in order to keep his side fresh.

Robbie Neilson has stressed the importance of rotating his squad ahead of Saturday’s Ladbrokes Premiership tie against Ross County.

The Hearts Head Coach made several tweaks to his side during their first three games of the season, and having racked up maximum points, he is determined to keep his team as fresh as possible.

Speaking to the media ahead of Saturday’s trip to Dingwall, Robbie revealed he intends to make further changes against The Staggies.

“I’ve got a good squad and it’s important to keep a freshness to it. The team will get changed again for tomorrow so that we’ve got guys coming in that have been fresh from the game before. The important thing is that we can change at any time,” Neilson explained.

The Hearts boss also revealed he has no fresh injury concerns ahead of tomorrow’s game, whilst midfield ace Miguel Pallardo continues to recover from his injury.

“The squad is fine, we’ve got Pallardo back doing light training so we’ll hopefully have him back in the next couple of weeks. Juanma will also be available, he’s still carrying a slight groin problem but he should be ok for tomorrow," said Neilson.
