Robbie Neilson to rotate squad tomorrow night but won't be making wholesale changes.

Robbie Neilson has revealed he’ll be freshing his team up for their second game in four days, but won’t be making wholesale changes.

The Jambos take on Raith Rovers at Stark’s Park tomorrow night, hot off the heels of Saturday’s 4-0 win over Dumbarton.

Head coach Robbie will utilise the squad at his disposal as he aims to take another step towards the Championship title.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference this morning, he said: “I’m not going to make too many changes. There will be one or two, but not too many.

“It’s important to win these games so we must make sure that we put out a strong team. I’m lucky enough to have a big squad so there will be a few (changes) but not a huge amount.

“We must prepare properly and make sure we get the result we need.

“The intention is to keep winning games. We want to get as many games as we can and we’ll continue to do that.

“There are a few players that are carrying some injuries so they’ll probably come out for a wee bit of time if they need any treatment, but other than that we’ll be trying to win every game.”

The men in maroon ran out 4-0 winners at Stark’s Park back in August and Robbie knows he’ll be up against a side desperate to get into the playoff hunt.

“I thought Raith had a fantastic start and then they lost a wee bit of form,” he said. “They had a good cup run and a few good results there and then they took their focus away from the league a bit, which can happen at times.

“I thought last week’s game was a big one for them, down at Queen of the South which they lost, so they’ll be motivated again against us to try and get a last push to try and get into that playoff position.

“Obviously we’ll take a huge crowd up as well, which give a great atmosphere tomorrow night.”
