Hearts’ Ladbrokes Premiership fixture against Motherwell on Saturday, January 27th will see the club pay tribute to the fantastic ongoing work of the Foundation of Hearts.
The Steelmen’s visit to Tynecastle Park will coincide with “Foundation Day”, in recognition of the crucial backing that the FOH continues to provide to the club.
Having recently launched the ‘Pledge Pals’ initiative, aimed at encouraging existing pledgers to get their pals signed up, the FOH will be out in force on the day with a number of Pledge Stations located in and around the ground.
Once inside, supporters will find clappers placed on their seats and the Hearts players will also say a special thank you on the pitch.
Supporters who purchased a personalised FOH scarf are encouraged to bring it along on the day and make their way to the main plaza where a large group photo will be taken of everyone who purchased a personalised scarf. More details about the group photo will be shared in due course.
The official Hearts matchday programme will also pay tribute to the club’s amazing supporters by featuring FOH pledgers on the cover.
Stuart Wallace, FOH Chairman, said:
“Foundation Day is all about celebrating the incredible commitment and achievements of FoH’s amazing pledgers to date.
“We want to take this opportunity to thank them all for creating history through their magnificent support for the club and to stress once again that we all have important work ahead of us.
"Every pledge really does count, and we urge other supporters, if they can afford it, to join us as we move closer and closer to fan ownership of Heart of Midlothian Football Club.
“I would invite everyone to come along to what promises to be another memorable day at Tynecastle Park. As we all know, there is no better place to be at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon!”
