Blazej Augustyn and Miguel Pallardo will leave Heart of Midlothian Football Club when their contracts expire in the summer.
The pair have recently held talks with Robbie Neilson and both have decided to pursue their careers away from the Jambos.
Miguel joined Hearts in September 2014 after six years with Spanish outfit Levante. He was instrumental in helping the men in maroon bag the Championship title in record-breaking style last season, before going on to make 19 appearances this campaign.
Polish centre-half Blazej was one of Robbie’s first captures of the season, joining from Gornik Zabrze in June. The towering defender made 27 appearances in a maroon jersey this season, helping the club secure third spot and European football in its first year back in the Premiership.
Head coach Robbie has thanked both players for their contributions to the club, and wished them well in the future.
Speaking to Hearts News, he said: “We had discussions with Blazej and Miguel, and all parties decided the time was right for the guys to continue their careers elsewhere.
“Miguel has been a great servant to the club and was a vital part in helping us to get out of the Championship last season.
“He hasn’t played as much as he would’ve liked this season, and he’s now at an age where he wants to play football every week, so we have no qualms about letting him move on and advance his career in pastures new.
“Blazej came in and has been a really important part of the team. Our defence is the second best in the Premiership and he has played a major part in that.
“He’s helped improve the team and taken us to the next level, so he leaves with our best wishes.
“Both Miguel and Blazej have made big contributions to the club reestablishing itself at the top end of the league so for that, on behalf of everyone at Hearts, I thank them and wish them both the very best in the future.”
