Five go to Riccarton

24th June 2014

Five starlets sign full-time deals at the Hearts Football Academy.

Hearts has bolstered this year's U20s setup with the addition of five players on professional contracts.

Sean McKirdy, Nathan Flanagan and Ian Smith - all Hearts U17s players last season - join new recruits Liam Henderson and Alistair Roy in penning professional contracts at the club which will see them become full-time players.

McKirdy and Flanagan featured numerous times for the U20s last year and they make the step up along with Smith, younger brother of first team star David.

Henderson joins Hearts after an impressive season at boys club outfit Hutchison Vale, while Roy makes the move from Stirling Albion's U17s side.
