Hearts Women manager Eva Olid says a capacity Oriam crowd will see her side work their socks off against Hamilton Academical on Sunday.
The Jambos host Accies in a curtain-raising SWPL 1 encounter this weekend, a game that has completely sold out.
Having already been in the dugout for the 0-0 SWPL Cup draw with Partick Thistle last week, Eva is eagerly anticipating her league debut because it will give her a good indication of where her side is at this early stage in the season, though she has no fears about her young team putting in a shift every week.
Speaking to Hearts TV, Eva said: “I need this first game because this is a starting point in the league to see where we are and where we will go.
“We know that we will work every week to get the three points. We want to compete.
“But we have to know where we are because the other teams, some of them have new players and we have to know the level of other teams. This way you can start to be aware of where we are.
“We are a young team, a very young team. This is good because it means that we have a lot of potential, but this means work too.
“We have to work to develop the young talent and the performance of the team. We want to arrive as high as we can and we will work to get the three points every week.”
