Dynamite against Dinamo

6th July 2014

Head coach Robbie Neilson delighted with display in win over Romanian giants.

Robbie Neilson thinks his players are practicing what they preach after showing off their training ground skills to beat Dinamo Bucuresti.

The Jambos ran out 2-1 winners against the Romanian giants on Sunday afternoon in Leigh, courtesy of Sam Nicholson and Gary Oliver strikes.

Robbie insists the players can hold their heads high after putting into practice what they've been doing on the training ground.

Speaking to HeartsTV after the game, Robbie said: "The pleasing thing for me was the performance. They're implanting some of the things we're trying to put across on the training ground.

"We just need to continue doing that. That's why we do it in training. We do repetitions of it every day, and keep going and going and speaking to them, trying to get them to do it and take it on board.

"It's about progression for them. They put it in today and did things we wanted them to do.

"Hopefully in the next game they can take it a step further."

Robbie's post-match interview will be available to watch in full on HeartsTV from tomorrow morning.
