Drama at Tynecastle

28th November 2014

Hit BBC One show The Syndicate films scenes at the home of Heart of Midlothian.

It’s been ‘Lights, Camera, Action!’ for the past few days at Tynecastle as the hit BBC One drama The Syndicate filmed scenes at Edinburgh’s oldest football club.

Film crews, actors and extras galore piled into Tynecastle to film scenes for the critically acclaimed show, which is due to be screened in the Spring.

Hearts’ very own Hearty Harry was brought out of retirement for filming, though it remains to be seen if he’ll make the final cut!

The Syndicate 3 sees the staff of a crumbling stately home win a life-changing amount of money in the lottery, and how a sudden change in fortune can bring about its own problems.

A Hearts spokesperson said: “We are delighted to welcome our friends at BBC One’s The Syndicate 3 to Tynecastle.

“It’s a pleasure to play a part in the making of such a popular show, and we look forward to seeing both our famous stadium and Hearty Harry on national television!”
