A young Hearts U20s side were beaten 2-0 by Aberdeen U20s yesterday at Riccarton.
The visitors took an early lead through Connor McLennan, who got on the end of Sam Robertson’s sixth-minute cross to fire past Kelby Mason in goal.
Aberdeen doubled their lead in the first-half after Dylan Thomas threaded through Bruce Anderson and he made no mistake in firing beyond Mason.
The Wee Jambos threatened through Andy Irving and Marc Leonard, but couldn’t get a foothold back into the game.
