Arnaud Djoum has revealed his is desperate to help send the Tynecastle faithful home happy this coming Sunday.
The Belgian midfielder insists he and his teammates are full of confidence as they prepare to take on city rivals Hibs in the fifth round of The William Hill Scottish Cup. Speaking to Hearts TV on Thursday, he said:
“Everyone’s excited, it’s a big game for us, the fans and the club.
“Personally I’m very much looking forward to being part of this game. The boys have been telling us all about it. We’re at home in front of our own fans and we have a good chance of winning, but it will be a difficult game.
“We have a lot of quality and I know Hibs have beaten other teams in our league this season, but we believe in ourselves.
“The fans here always help us a lot, probably more than ever on Sunday. It’s a very important match for them and we will do everything we can to send them home happy.”
