Hearts have completed the signing of Danish winger Danny Amankwaa, subject to international clearance.
The 23-year-old transfers from Danish Superliga side FC Copenhagen and joins the Jambos on an 18-month deal.
Capped for Denmark from U16s up to U21s, Danny attracted the interest of several top clubs and spent a period of time on trial with Chelsea, but opted to sign for FC Copenhagen in 2012.
A pacy wide man, he would go on to win the Danish Superliga title on three occasions with FC Copenhagen, as well as lifting three Danish Cups and can boast significant Champions League and Europa League experience.
Speaking to HeartsTV this afternoon, Danny said: “I’m very happy to be here and I can’t wait to play in front of these amazing fans that I’ve heard so much about.
“I would say I’m quite fast and skillful. I am fit and ready to play so hopefully the fans will quickly see what type of player I am.
“I’m an offensive player so hopefully I can contribute with assists and some goals as well.”
