Craig Levein has praised his fit-again first team stars and believes his side can only get stronger.
Target man Uche Ikpeazu is verging on a return - although Livingston may come too soon - and Peter Haring should be fit by next week.
The manager complimented Ikpeazu's work ethic as the striker bids to make a return by the weekend: "Uche trained yesterday with the group for the first time. He'll definitely be involved on Sunday but tomorrow might just come a little bit early. Normally I'd say I'd try to twist his arm but I'm not going to try and twist his arm," Craig joked.
"He [Uche] has worked ever so hard and it was the same in the summer when he arrived. His energy and enthusiasm is evident for all to see. We didn't just miss his goals and his hold-up play, it was that raw energy and enthusiasm that can unsettle the opposition."
The Jambos are on a promising run of form having won five of their previous six matches and Craig was confident that there is even more to come from his side.
"We've got Souttar, Berra, Naismith back which is good. We've never lost when those three have been in the team which is good to hear. We get Uche back on Sunday and Peter will probably be a week later. We've won five our our last six matches and we're going to get stronger, for sure."
"The facts and statistics would say we're getting back to our early season form - I don't think we're quite there yet. We've been winning games and we're playing reasonably well but I don't think we've got back to the kind of football we played early in the season."
The manager also gave an update on team news before tomorrow night's Ladbrokes Premiership clash with Livingston.
"Michael Smith had a little groin problem so he's not trained yet. Hopefully he'll be alright. I left Marcus Godinho out because of the pitch and his history of knee problems, so Marcus is available if Michael doesn't make it."
"We've had very, very difficult matches against Livingston this season and I don't expect anything other than that tomorrow night."
