U20s skipper Liam Smith has signed a contract extension with Heart of Midlothian.
The 19-year-old has penned a deal that will keep him at Tynecastle until May 2018.
Scotland U19 cap Liam has made three top team appearances for Robbie Neilson’s side this season, and the head coach is delighted that the right-back has committed his future to the club.
Speaking to Hearts News, Robbie said: “I’m delighted to get Liam tied up with a new deal.
“He’s a highly rated player and has a big future here, as long as he continues to work hard.
“He’s had a taste of first-team action this season so he knows the standard he has to work towards to stake a claim for the jersey.”
