Euan Henderson has signed a contract extension with Hearts.
The forward has penned a two-year extension to his current deal, which will keep him at Tynecastle until 2022.
A graduate of the Hearts Academy, ‘Hendo’ joined the club at U15s level back in 2014 and was given his first taste of top team action on the final day of the 2016/17 season at Celtic Park.
He made a further 13 appearances the following campaign before spending season 2018/19 on loan at Montrose, where he scored five goals in 32 appearances for the League One side.
A mainstay of the Jambos’ U20s and then reserve sides, the 19-year-old returned to the first team in August 2019, making a handful of appearances until December when his form earned him a regular place in the starting line up.
He bagged his first goal in a maroon shirt in January of this year, scoring the fourth in a 5-0 Scottish Cup victory over Aidrieonians, and has gone on to make a total of 27 first team appearances.
