Connor Smith has received further international recognition, after being called up to the Scotland Under-21s squad for a Euro qualifying double-header against Belgium and Denmark.
The Young Scots travel to Sint-Truden for the first match against unbeaten Belgium on 5 June, before heading to the Vejle Stadion, in Vejle, to take on the Danes five days later. Scotland sit fourth in their group, following a 2-2 draw away to Kazakhstan in their last match.
Hearts Academy graduate Smith jets off after enjoying a hugely successful loan spell at Queen's Park in League One that culminated in the Spiders clinching promotion to the Championship - with Connor making 38 appearances and notching five goals.
We wish Connor and the Young Scots every success in their qualifying campaign.
