Chance to impress

Robbie Neilson confident he has the squad to cope with defensive absences on Saturday.

Hearts travel to Inverness on Saturday without two key defenders, but Head Coach Robbie Neilson is confident he has the squad to cope with the absences.

Blazej Augustyn and Igor Rossi are both suspended for Saturday’s lunch-time kick off, forcing Robbie into a defensive re-shuffle as the Jambos look to return to winning ways.

Speaking to Hearts TV on Thursday, Robbie said:

“It’s a difficult place to go for Hearts, and every other team for that matter. It’s a difficult venue and they’re a good team that plays good football.

“We’ll be missing two important players in Augustyn and Rossi, but we’ve got a good squad and it’s an opportunity for players to come in and stake a claim for a starting berth the following week.”

The Head Coach will be boosted by the return of Sam Nicholson, Morgaro Gomis and Jamie Walker, who are all set to form part of the match day squad.

“All three will be available for Saturday and if they don’t start then they’ll be on the bench," Robbie said.
