Heart of Midlothian have been awarded gold in the Best Bar None Scotland awards.
The club has again been recognised for its efforts in promoting public safety and customer care in relation to the numerous events that are hosted at Tynecastle Park.
Best Bar None is a national accreditation and award scheme aimed at raising standards and rewarding licensed premises who undertake positive management practices. The focus of the Best Bar None scheme is on public safety and customer care, accreditation to the scheme ensures venues and staff have met a level of standards that assures members of the public they will be able to enjoy a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
Many venues are shortlisted for bronze, silver and gold awards annually and the Jambos came out on top during yesterday’s award ceremony that was held right here at Tynecastle Park in the Gorgie Suite – receiving a gold award in the Specialist Entertainment Venue category.
The awards kept on coming as Heart of Midlothian also took home category winner.
Head of Hospitality and Catering, Graeme Pacitti, and Deputy Hospitality Operations Manager, John Reid, collected the awards on behalf of the club. Graeme commented: “This is a fantastic achievement for the club and we are delighted to have won this award, and to be named the category winner".
“Various departments within the club work tirelessly to ensure that the very highest standards are met when it comes to public safety and customer satisfaction, and this award is recognition that they’re doing a wonderful job.
