Arnaud Djoum insists he and his teammates are raring to go for tomorrow night's Europa League 1st round tie against FC Infonet.
The Belgian midfielder, who will wear the numeber 10 jersey this coming season, can't wait to start Hearts' European adventure against the Estonians in front of another large home crowd.
In excess of 13,000 tickets have been sold for the first leg tie at Tynecastle and Arnaud admits there is no shortage of excitement within the squad.
Speaking to Hearts TV, he said:
“There’s a lot of excitement ahead of Thursday. It’s an important game and for a lot of the guys in the squad it will be their first time playing in Europe.
“It won’t be easy, it never is when you play teams from other countries because you don’t know their style.
“But everyone here has come back in good shape, we will study our opponents and everyone is ready for it.
Hearts have made numerous signings during the close season and several could make their competitive debuts tomorrow night. Arnaud believes the squad is now shaping up nicely ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
“We have to believe that we can go far. When we play at Tynecastle we feel like we can beat anybody.
“We’ve played a few friendly games and we feel good. The new players have done a good job, I feel as if they are quality players who will improve us this season."
